... it would look something like this.

I wanted to start my very first blog-post with this picture.
Lets take a moment of silence. ... now isn't that just pure perfection? When i saw this picture the quote that now serves as my blog-title instantly came to mind. If love was a room, it would look something like this.

I never get tired of looking at this room. Everything amazes me. Though the architecture of this space is wide and open and rather minimalistic, the room still feels cozy and inviting. I might imagine it's due to all that wonderful light, the different and natural textures, and the organic colors of the furniture pieces, which blend in together perfectly into this beautiful backsplash of wood and nature that you see through the wide floor-to-ceiling windows. The whole place gives a feeling of being sheltered rather than sitting in a glass case. There's so much warmth and love coming from this.

I try to imagine what this room would smell like... it's probably the beginning of summer... but i'm not too good at guessing seasons. It's definitly not hot yet, outside. Wearing a light sweater would be appropriate, for it's probably a little chilly where the trees cast shadows, but comfortably warm in places where the sun kisses the skin. Most of all there would be this certain feeling of positive agitation, which makes your skin prickle, and the wonderfully serene certainty of being right where you belong.

I'm sorry if i come of as somewhat crazy, but i think i'm totally having a major crush on this room, for quiet some time. ;) Do you get a similar reaction when entering a room or looking at a magazine scan of a room or property? Something that makes you think ... If love was a room, it would look something like this?

On a different note... does anybody recognize said property and maybe knows where it's located? I can't even give props to the designer/photographer, for I had found it some time ago by accident and didn't save the link, unfortunately. So this is probably bound to stay an anonymous love affair, for now.
